Fletcher Challenge Retirees Club Auckland

The Club was founded in 1983 with 73 founding members. Membership grew to 500 in the first 10 years and up until the break up of Fletcher Challenge Limited was strongly supported by the company in many ways. We are now a stand alone club.

Today our membership stands at 180 members who are sent regular notices throughout the year of trips and luncheons in which they are invited to participate.

Membership is free and open to all ex-employees and their partners of any Fletcher Challenge or Fletcher Building company.

Many enjoyable trips have been taken over the years with the 1991 trip to Canada with Wellington and Christchurch clubs being a highlight.

The club endeavours to hold approx. around six outings per year including a mid year luncheon and end of year Xmas luncheon. Notices of the luncheons are sent to the full list of members.
